On 5th December, my team took part in a practice FLL Tournament held at Ronkonkoma JHS which was sponsored by SBPLI (Small Business Partnership of Long Island). This is my first year competing in the FLL Robotics Competition. It was a good experience for my technical understanding of how the competition works. I learned a lot from it. Although the tournament was exciting, there was room for improvement. I think that we can try and change the attachments quicker so we have more time to complete more challenges. The 2 people at the competition table should be able to work together better in order to save that time. We as a team also talked to coaches and friends from another team for advice in our programming and strategy. From their advice, I am sure that when the team used it, we would improve drastically.
